I first began sewing (with a machine) in a 4H class when I was about 10, but didn't keep up with it until we bought a house and I needed some curtains. Doug bought me a Singer sewing machine for my 26th birthday, and my hobby started to pick up speed.
Then, in June 2011 we began our journey toward international adoption. I began my shop, Sweet Bo Peep, as both a creative outlet and a means to raise additional money so we can bring our baby home from Ethiopia. All proceeds go directly toward our adoption account!
